Horrifying video shows two men in a violent machete fight outside a gas station in the Dominican Republic — which ended with one of them picking up his own chopped-off hand off the ground and calmly walking away.
The two men were caught on camera ferociously swinging machetes at each other Tuesday in San Pedro de MacorÃs as shocked onlookers shriek in the background.
Following a series of wild slashes, one of the men knocks his opponent to the ground, the clip shows.
The men continue swinging their machetes at each other before the one on the ground manages to make it back up onto his knees — and barbarically chops off his opponent’s hand at the wrist.
The graphic footage shows the man’s hand flying off and landing on the asphalt.
Panicked screams from onlookers pick up as the handless man runs away from his attacker, whose white shirt is covered in blood.
Other bystanders can be seen moving through the area and talking to the two men following their brawl.
The injured man then returns to the scene of the fight to calmly retrieve his severed hand.
Local reports and eyewitnesses cited by TMZ claim the sparring men were friends who had gotten into a fight over a woman.
The man whose hand was hacked off was taken to a local hospital, though it was not immediately clear if doctors could reattach his limb.
It was not immediately clear if either of the men would face charges.
